Matt Embree of Rx Bandits and The Sound Of Animals Fighting has posted the first song from his upcoming solo album under the name Love You Moon. Some live performances are also expected in the coming months.

I like the aggressive guitar playing and vocal delivery, don't hear that very often in solo acts like this. Though I have to say, if Embree wanted to write harder songs, he should have done it on the last RXB album and saved the noodly/experimental stuff for his solo stuff.

i don't love these. the vocal style to me doesn't really sound like singing.. and that's sort of what i like about this dude. it's a little too aggressive for me.

YES!! ive been waiting on a love you moon release forever! There is a video on youtube of matt embree playing a dylan song, i think its masters of war. I know its a cover, but goddamn embree uses so much emotion and energy in his live performance, whether hes alone, with RXB, or SOAF. | Features
