Tours: Pennywise / Sum 41 / The Vandals / Bowling for Soup

Pennywise has announced an Australian tour in support of their upcoming MySpace Records album which will be released both as a feature-packed CD and as a free music download. The record is due out March 20, 2008.

The band will be joined by a number of bands including Sum 41, The Vandals and Bowling for Soup.

Reviews and spoilers are EVERYWHERE. Sounds pretty great, I don't want the shit spoiled for me, can't go wrong with Monsters.

i thought the movie was fucking sweet, but everyone else i was with thought it kind of sucked. don't let anyone tell you anything specific about the movie, i think that will made it sweeter.

I went to the midnight screening and it was pretty sweet. At first I was dissapointed because how short it was, but then I realized I would of complained if it was any longer haha.

Damn....it'd be cool to see Pennywise and the Vandals. Not sure about Sum 41. Get rid of Bowling for Soup and that'd be cooler than it already is.

i'd love to see this tour. pennywise and the vandlas are incredible, even though some of their material on some of their newer albums has been questionable...but still, to see these guys playing their hearts out, it would be amazing. and hell, i like sum41..more so their old material, but it's all enjoyable to me. bowling for soup i'd go tol watch, but i'd mainly be there for pennywise and the vandals..but since im in canada and not australia, i will just wait for the vandlas to stop by toronto in march instead...

i would go, pennywise and the vandals on the same tour is pretty sweet.. sum 41 put on a good show but i dont really like there albums.. so it's a good show if you leave out bowling for soup

Dude, Pennywise is the most consistent band in punk rock. Do we really want them to have a CD full of acoustic ballads and whining self piyting lyrics?

No man, we want that same, fast 14 song punk record they release every couple of years!

NOFX was even able to evolve to a point, Pennywise has not. It is sad how similar every record sounds.

thats a really fun tour (minus the bowling for soup part)

then again i dont really like pennywise

but a Sum 41 and Vandals tour id be really pumped (esp. since Vandals dont like the east coast)

Wouldn't Sum 41 headline over Pennywise? I'm not saying they are better, but i figure they have a bigger audience.

punk _ rawk _ show is stoked!

I've unfortunately never seen the vandals in a club show, only once @ Warped Tour. Probably because as someone mentioned above me, they don't make it to the eastern U.S. too often.

So what's everyone's list of the top 3 bands they have not yet seen and want to?

1.)Propaghandi
2.) Strike Anywhere
3.) Smoke or Fire (I got lost on the way to a show and only caught the last couple songs).

i saw the vandals at the rave (warped tour as well) in milwaukee which is a multi-stage club. they played the rave ballroom (which is haunted) and they had a pretty good sized audience.

I've had alot of fun everytime I've seen Pennywise. The live CD is a really good representation of both a typical Pennywise show and the songs they usually play. For me, the only down side? Fletcher's stage banter is pretty lame. On the other hand, he's fun to watch.
