Panic At the Disco details "Pretty. Odd."

Panic! At the Disco have unveiled the track listing for their highly anticipated second album. The record is titled Pretty. Odd and is due out March 25, 2008. It is the follow-up to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out which was released in 2005.

Didn't they say something like "we won't have ridiculous song titles?" I mean, it's a step forward, but barely.

I love how they're all SERIOUS BUSINESS now and claim to be influenced by the Beatles. Um, yeah. Do you think they could be more nonspcific, or are they really just that incurious about anything but the top layer of pop history and current Top 40?

Seriously, the interviews they've been giving make them sound like a bunch of stoner 13 year olds who listened to their dads' copy of Dark Side of the Moon and now think they know all about music history because they know obscure, underground bands like the Beach Boys and the Who.

Were this any other band, they wouldn't be getting this much shit over the names.

Ridiculous song names doesn't always mean terrible songs. In this band's case, it probably does... but that's a whole other story.
