Media: Lords: “Man Everything Sucks” / “Blasphemy Act”

Lords, of Lousiville, Kentucky, have posted two new tracks from their upcoming Jade Tree release, Fuck All Y'All Motherfuckers, on their MySpace page. The punk/metal/hardcore act has also made two rare tracks and a bawdy Christmas ditty available for streaming.

The band previously released Swords, their Jade Tree Debut, in 2005.

Serious inquiry - I never got into the Lawrence Arms. Give me an order to listen to them in. Keep in mind I absolutely fucking love The Falcon.

I love the Falcon too, but if I had to make a recommendation it'd be the Broadways not the Arms. Of course I didn't care for Sundowner either so I guess you can tell which way I tilt..

I second the Broadways rec too. Broken Van is one of best CDs ever. For the Lawrence Arms, I'd start with their newest and work your way back.

broken star is a better record. considering broken van is mostly a collection of previous releases with a few unreleased songs thrown in.

Basically you're saying that Broken Star is a better record because Broken Van doesn't count as a "record". But other than Redline, BV matches up well in the standout tracks department and This Routine is the better closer IMO

I like most of Brendan's LA songs even though they don't hit me like The Falcon. The B-side from Oh Calcutta (I forget the name its on a Fat Comp) is awesome. It starts out "Oh my stars and garters.." and may involve Chickens in the title
