Tours: Rufio (South America)

Though the band formally called it quits last year, Rufio has unveiled plans for a tour through South America beginning in April.

In a Blender interview in March 2007, Pete Wentz alluded to being bisexual, stating that he has kissed males before and that "anybody above the waist is totally fair game." In the May 2007 issue of The Advocate, Wentz opened up about his sexuality, saying that he is sexually attracted to males but that "I'm not a fan of penises."

So he's attracted to men, but afraid of penises? Freud would have a field day.

Day three of the tour, half way through the set the guitarist turns to the bassist, "I wish I knew Spanish. What in the hell does 'No Bu-way-no' mean and why do they keep chanting it?"

there's a good chance the Brasilians at the show will also be thinking "I wish I knew Spanish", but I get the feeling the crowd will get what the rest of the crowd is yelling even if they don't speak Spanish.

This band knows their target market. If you YouTube "rufio cover" you get a ton of fucking south american kids attempting to play rufio songs. If you go to their myspace all the comments are written in broken english. Same thing with slick shoes.

What is it with south americans and skate punk with vocalists that sound like pre-pubesent girls?
