Media: The Matches: “Point Me Towards the Morning”

The Matches have another new song from their upcoming full length. The record is titled A Band in Hope and is due out March 18, 2008. It is the follow-up to Decomposer which was released in 2006.

Like the previous album, the record includes contributions from a myriad of producers including Tim Armstrong (Rancid), Nick Hexum, Mark Hoppus (Blink-182), John Feldmann (Goldfinger), the Wizard Miles Hurwitz, Matt Radosevich, Mike Green, Paul Ruxton, John Paulsen and more.

i really enjoyed 'Decomposer', even though i'm apparently the only one.

this song doesn't sound too bad, i'm sure i'm gonna like this album too and take lots of shit for it... oh well. lookin forward to it.

I have this new album but haven't listened to much of it. Alot of it has some exciting moments. More intelligent but not as fun lyrics/music as Evon Dahl.

really think this album is going to get a good reaction from a larger base. Nobody really sounds anything like these guys right now and I think they stand out. I must admit i think I like DECOMPOSER better, but this album hasn't really sunk in yet.
Track 4 - Darkness Rising is f***-ing phenomenal. Tim Burton-esque.
