Toronto, ON's The Constantines have been forced to cancel their March 3rd New York show at the Mercury Lounge due to guitarist Steve Lambke breaking a bone in his right hand after falling on some icy steps. They have rescheduled the show for April 16th, and all tickets will still be honored. The injury is not considered serious and the band will still make their appearance at three shows at SXSW.

The new April 16th New York show will also kick off a North American tour that will see the group gone until May, supporing the April 15th release of their fourth full-length album, Kensington Heights.
