Tours: Against Me! / Crime in Stereo (Australia)

Against Me! has announced the dates for their Australian tour in support of New Wave with Long Island's Crime In Stereo in tow. Both bands are supporting their new releases, with New Wave and Crime In Stereo Is Dead being their most recent releases. You can check out the tour poster here.

i'm 24 and after a shitty breakup went from 180 to 166 pounds. i've stopped losing weight but i am still a little flabby. how can i harden up my mid section. crunches seem to be working only real slow and really it's not that much. i drink a lot of beer. is my only option to quit all the booze. i do lots of running. 4 miles 5 times a week. any suggestions on how to stop this plateau i've hit and get a little more hard/lean?

What you can do is look to portioning. Instead of eating one full meal, cut it in half and make two meals out of it but have them 5-6 times a day. If that takes up too much time, you could use meal replacements. You can buy them at GNC, they consist of a good proportion of carbs-fat-protein and are only about 350 calories. What eating small, portioned out meals will do is speed up your metabolism.

I also completely recommend weight lifting. This is also another activity that burns calories but will also help you keep any muscle you have without burning it (as long as your eating enough protein). When someone cuts down, they lose fat first but if someone is losing more than 2 lbs a week, muscle is also being lost. By working out and eating protein, you will limit your amount of muscle loss and build muscle in the future once you decide

Beer is a complete killer. I'm striving to be down to 10% body fat myself but beer has nothing but empty calories. I'm a college student so I know what it's like to have a drinking lifestyle. Cut to light beers like Bud Select. But honestly, I'd stick to hard liquor instead. It often has less calories than beer does and you get drunk faster. If liquor is your plan of attack, stay away from fruit-based liquors or sweet liquors (snapps, whisky, Baileys) and shoot for Vodka or Gin. If drinking, try not to add things like grenadine or juice. Those two are full of calories and carbs.

If you're completely sincere about it, cut off beer all together. Water is the best drink you can have. Not only does it hydrate you (great for flushing your system out) but it has absolutely no calories). Sodas and juices have many calories in them that people don't realize. You can also switch to eating lean meats like chicken, tuna, fish, or turkey instead of eating hotdogs and burgers.

I'd be more happy is CIS weren'r supporting Against Me!

I really dislike Against Me!, i've tried to like the band and when The Draft opened for them at The Forum last year the Against Me! fanbase started yelling shit and throwing shit at them.

Any fanbase that disrespects members of Hot Water Music are pretty beastly in my opinion.

What not playing Canberra this time? Just because last time James (on guitar) got knocked over by fan who was pushed on stage and fell on to James who fell over, wacked his head, cut his lip and a had a mild concussion.

All of which happend after the sound guy (Gaz) asked the crowd to settle down unto which Tom jumped down his throat for using the microphone and said "Don't worry about the crowd, we'll look after them"
