The first block of dates for the Asian Man Records tour has been announced. Subtitled the "Making Punk Fun Again" tour, the bill will include The Queers, Lemuria, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Bomb the Music Industry! and Kepi Ghoulie of Groovie Ghoulies.

There is a Huntington near Alexandria. I have no idea what the venue would be unless its someone's house. At least there is a huntington metro stop.

oh, sorry, no. change it to "used to be" and you might hit a truth. And while the Queers have longevity, they still mean something. Andrew Jackson Jihad is putting some good stuff out, too. Damn, this is sad...

Well I actually didnt even notice the title of the tour til after I posted that.

But I do agree with you. Honestly im not a HUGE fan of any of these bands, but I still believe that this is a sign of some sort of transition in punk. I mean honestly Asian Man, for being such a superpower in the punk scene in the past, hasnt wowed me in a long time. But this tour is just nice to see happening. Its like a spark under the ass of DIY thats been missing for a long time now.

No! Start with Treatment 5. It is in my top 10 of all time, and is superior in every way to their second CD. After you get Treatment 5, then get the 2nd.

idle will kill is a timeless record.

treatment 5 is a great record, but sounds dated. it also has some notable filler, as well as their most angry and catchy shit. some of the songs fucking rock.

hmm....id say get treatment 5 first, but not cause its better. just cause its a better introduction to all that is osker.

Osker was the WORST band ever. Albums sucked, the live shows sucked, and the lead singer was a turd.

No joke at all, for years I had an Osker sticker stuck to the inside of my toilet so that every day I could piss on their name. I hated that band.

By the way, showing your displeasure of a band in such a fashion is easier than you think! Just turn the water off behind the toilet, flush until empty, dry out the porcelin, affix sticker, and after about a half hour turn the water back on. Viola!!

Fuck that shit son! I drove an hour and a half to go to it and then skipped school the next day and then went to NOFX the night after. It was a full punk rock/no school extravaganza!

Then again I'm in college. But there were two like 14yearolds there with one of their dads. It was cute.
