Pennywise has a free download from their upcoming record Reason To Believe. The album will be released by Epitaph in Europe while MySpace Records will handle the US release on
March 25, 2008.
As previously announced MySpace Records will offer up the album as a free digital download via a Textango promotion. Anyone who adds Textango's profile as a friend on the social networking site MySpace will get access to the songs. You can download "The Western World" courtesy of KROQ here. I like it. I like Pennywise's slower songs, and I like that they only do a few here and there. The other track from the album that was posted through AMP was pretty rocking.

if i found a golden lamp wish three would involve ridding the world of several bands...and their fans. Pennywise would be on the list. 3+ Replies

The only nad that can pull of writing the same song over and over again and make it original every time is Lungfish. 3+ Replies

I wish they'd do an album of nothing but songs like this. This is proof that they can still write really good songs. I love it... One of the best things they've done in a long time....

very good song-- if the two songs released show any sign, this new album may be really damn great

Ok, this is one of the best songs Pennywise has ever written... I've been growing out of punk a lot lately, and wasn't expecting the new Pennywise to really impress me... But wow.... Just, wow...

It's great until he goes "Alright alright alright alright let's go" like he's Hanna Montana. 2+ Replies

great song. i love pennywise, always have, always will, no matter if some of their songs sound rehashed or not. i cannot wait for the album to come out.

I've heard that Pennywise is getting compensated for the new album with a hyped up friends list and a sick page edited by Thomas' Myspace editor V.3.0!

I really liked the 2 songs they've released so far. This album is going to be way better than the fuse, which wasn't good at all to me . 2+ Replies

Don't understand people liking this song at all.

Now I think about it, that was a terrible song. It has the same "tired, going through the motions" vibe that the last few records have had. New Maps Of Hell had the same vibe too.

Pennywise is a great band. Thier style will always be appreciated. For all the haters, perhaps you should pay some respect. I seriously doubt any of these newer bands you all rant and rave about will make it to over 15 years and sell as many records as Pennywise. They have nothing to prove to any of you. They've done it all and still havent lost thier edge. Something a lot of punk these days is missing. Just dont hate. | Features
