The Raconteurs / Birds of Avalon

The Raleigh, NC based Birds of Avalon have been tapped to support The Raconteurs, the side project of The White Stripes's Jack White.

Earlier this week, the Raconteurs announced a surprise release for their next album. The record is titled Consolers of the Lonely and is due out March 25, 2008. Birds of Avalon will also be supporting new material, with their new EP due out on
