Pete Wentz to release Nordstrom-exclusive DVD

On April 09, 2008, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz will continue his plan to become master of all media by releasing a special Nordstrom-exclusive DVD. Titled Making Mischief, the disc promises "never-before-seen video footage, interviews and photos of Pete Wentz creating his clothing line, Clandestine Industries"

I have it on good word from sources close to Mr. Wentz that he does, in fact, sit around and come up with stuff specifically for the purpose of pissing people off and getting press. Case in point, the announcement he made around the time their last album leaked.

I actually don't blame him for things like this. It seems like he fully realizes that fob have no more than one more album in them before the 15yr olds move on and we never have to here from them again(hopefully). He is just cashing in for retirement.

I was in Nordstrom recently for a while. I bought an Iced Tea at the little coffeshop in the store and relaxed in a deep comfortable chair by the elevator. Exchanged a hard five with another dude there with his girlfriend, who then commented "yeah, you know what's up".

Not such a bad time.

I like how in most major department stores there's a comfy chair and a TV set to ESPN in the women's clothing section. Andrea thinks the Husband Seat is sexist, but I think it's just practical and awesome.

I know it's a cliche, but I really really really really hate going clothes shopping with her.

I completely agree. It sure beats the hell out of wandering around the women's lingerie/undergarment section sipping iced tea trying not to look like some awkward weirdo/pervert. Which, I should have mentioned, is where all this took place.

There totally was a guy doing that though, when we went to checkout the girl at the counter was like "yeah, he was in here for 3 hours yesterday."

I'm mostly just a fan of the lingerie being sprung on me at home. If I see the decision making process that went into acquiring it, some of the magic and mystery is lost.

That and, like you said, I always feel like a pervert hanging around anywhere near the panty clearance bin, even if the girlfriend is with me.

In my experience, if you have to be in that section, try not to hide it. If you overtly bring attention to yourself, then others know that you realize you are where you don't belong. In other words, it's better to look awkward and oblivious than awkward and pervy.

Try saying more loudly than usual: "So, which one of these panties are you going to try on?"

I hate shopping with my girlfriend too. Luckily she's really fast about it, like she'll go in, pick out whatever she wants, and we'll be out of there in 20 minutes tops. I still hate it though.

The two options you present have problems. Mainly they can be justified. As me and all my friends are huge fans of early to mid 90's R&B and pop, I'm sure we've done the former more than a few times. Though it is silly and odd to those who see it, it's not gay simply in the act. Two dudes on a motorcycle is a lot harder to justify (I mean A LOT) but it could be that one dudes bike is in the shop or they had to get somewhere fast and only had one bike. It's the gayer of the two options but not gay, per say.

Tandem bike = always gay. ALWAYS.

They are both pretty gay. Big rims, slow jams, gayer than gay.
However, nothing like too obese gays, straddling a Harley. Chatterbox makes these "Tandem" headsets, so two people on one motorcycle can talk via headset. Everyone time we sold one of those, I'd think of two gay bikers whispering sweet-nothings while riding through the countryside on a sunny sunday.

On a completely unrelated note:
I haven't delved that far into hardcore in my days (kid dynamite is probably the farthest.). I was just wondering if anyone would recommend Bold, considering that I can't stand bands like Terror and Throwdown. I'm very uneducated in the ways of hardcore so please don't be offended. Thanks for any help.

I am not too into the garagey youth-core bands like Bold, but do like the punkier ones to come after. (thought for classics, Gorilla Biscuits, Bold, Ten Yard Fight, Strife, Minor Threat, are good to have in your collection).
So if you like Kid Dynamite, I'd recommend:
Bane, Stretch Arm Strong, Comeback Kid, Death by Stereo, Give Up The Ghost (aka American Nightmare), Good Riddance, the Hope Conspiracy, Lifetime, Rise Against (older), Strike Anywhere...

Actually, that was our exact idea. Get a Dachshund and name it Peter. We ended up taking in an abandoned poodle mix though instead. 'Peter' still works pretty well for the dog.
