You know, i heard about her passing from the asian man email newsletter. i remember that day, cos i was frantically checking every source i could, to find out if it was some sort of joke...but aside from that email--which, don't get me wrong, was pretty authoritative--and a small blurb on wikipedia about her death, i couldn't find anything. that led me to post the news story here.

good for mike for putting this together, lynette was great and her death was a sad loss for her fans..skankin pickle and 78rmps wouldnt have been the same without her. also, it'd be really cool to see video of this show..monkey are a talented and nice group of guys..i'd like to see them and mike's take on the skankin pickle tunes..

Monkey are really nice guys. I talked to the drummer all about music when they played some house show in Sterling, VA. Speaking of which Mike Park is also a nice guy, so I guess it's nice guys all around.
Rock on,
