Anti-Flag, Bloc Party, Dropkick Murphys to play mainstage Leeds/Reading Weekender UK

Anti-Flag and the Dropkick Murphyshave been confirmed to play on the main stage at the Reading & Leeds Weekender from the 22nd to the 24th of August. Festival headliners include Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Tenacious D, Queens of the Stone Age, Slipknot, The Killers & Bloc Party. Other noteworthy acts include The Raconteurs, Avenged Sevenfold, Taking Back Sunday, and Vampire Weekend.

The festival features six stages and many, many more bands staged between Reading and Leeds, who swap lineups on different days. Visit the festival's website for details.

Well, they must love the ass-massaging then... I mean they are on every music television channel known to man, plus any celebrity-obsessed shows like Vh1, or E!. Damn.

So according to those people's views, Vampire Weekend is the most innovative band out there supposedly... (which they are not).

I realized as soon as I finished the comment that I meant to say something along the lines of "why am i watching 80s porn? does being sick have to do with my desire for watching the ridiculous???".

Anyone know when the lock-up stage is announced? I think the Bosstones are pretty much confirmed, which would be amazing, although the Gallows are supposed to be headling it one night...

I know festivals suck and all, but the Lollapalooza line up won't even be this good, I'm sure. I live so close so I'll go anyway but there's no way they'll have anyone like these guys playing there. Possibly The Raconteurs, QOTSA played a few years ago so maybe but that's about it.
