I like the stuff this label puts out but never buy it because they want too much money for a CD.

buy "the galilean satellites" by rosetta. and get two cd players with a set of speakers each. and experience enlightenment.

(and also just buy your CDs from amazon marketplace sellers if price is a problem. i don't think i've paid more than 6quid for a cd in the last year!)

I hate that gimmicky crap. Instead of fucking around with two discs, I have a FLAC rip of both of them mixed. The CDs can stay in their case.

Saw these guys at the El Corazon (/Graceland/Off Ramp) 3rd anniversary show with TAAS. They were good until the last two or three minutes of their set, which consisted of playing distorted feedback really fucking loudly. And I'm usually okay with that, but the volume was just insane -- at a certain point, it's not hard or artistic or provocative, it's just really painful.
