Uprising records signs DR. ACULA

Uprising Records has announced the signing of Long Island's Dr. Acula. According to the label, the band merges "classic grindcore with gut wrenching breakdowns, synth parts and dance beats."

The band will be recording with Jamie King (Through the Eyes of the Dead, Between the Buried and Me) followed by a national tour with Liferuiner in May. Their album, Below Me!, is due out in the summer.

I admit, I love Scrubs, but Zach Braff's a goddamn douchebag, and his character just keeps getting dumber and dumber and dumber and dumber.

If any other character wrote a screenplay called "Dr. Acula", I wouldn't care, but because it was Braff's I automatically do not like this band.

My opinion is dogshit, by the way.

Agreed on Braff. That fucker's just phoning it in nowadays. What was once a character has now become a charicature. Last week's episode was fucking awful on a whole new level though, because even the other characters are starting to go the way of JD.

That said, I did give this band a chance. I wish I hadn't. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go clean the blood out of my ears.

In all the madness of the strike, Scrubs actually got picked up for a 7th season, despite the fact that they had all agreed this would be the last one. Also, they're moving it to ABC.

The first four seasons of Scrubs were fantastic, but it's progressively been going downhill since then, and this is a shitty idea.

it has it's moments...but Janitor is one of the best characters i've seen on tv in quite some time...of the shows my girlfriend forces me to watch, scrubs is one of the best (not like that says much...it's not in the best company, hahaha)

I think seasons 1-6 was golden. They were going to end it in season 6 (hence some closing stuff like Lavernes death), but season 7 is fucking atrocious! I saw all the episodes last weekend and it just made me want to punch myself. But i really really like season 6 so who am i to say anything?

All I had to see was their photos and Goosebumps references to decide that they suck. Then the music kicked in and I decided that I hate their very souls.

Seriously that "Let's Get Invisible" song sounds like cliche screaming over a Frooty Loops beat that was cranked out in 10 minutes. Is that what it takes to get signed?
