Denali planning reunion show for Summer

Denali has begun rehearsing and is promising a reunion show this summer. The band, which features members of Sparta, Ambulette, Bella Lea, Glos and Engine Down made the announcement:

During the first few months of 2008, the original line-up has gotten together for rehearsals for the first time in five years. A reunion show is in the works, and the band is eyeing a mid-summer date in Richmond. Stay tuned for details.

The band split up in 2004 after five years together.

most likely, i did.

the picture was taken at nathan's in coney island.

i had eaten 6 hot dogs that day, for a total of 9 hot dogs, six slices of pizza, and a shwarma in 24 hours. not to mention ungodly amounts of beer and whiskey.

survive on a diet consisting mostly of tacos, beer, pizza, whiskey, mac and cheese. and hot dogs (sandwiches when appropriate). listen to punkrock constantly. watch terrible movies.

I only have heard the self titled album. It was ok. Mostly kinda background music.

this is crazy, i just pulled out the self-titled album this morning while getting ready for work. I haven't listened to it a long time, then to read this now....pretty bizarre.

anyhow, I like the first album a lot but didn't really get into "the instinct". i may check out the reunion show, they were always decent live.

I loved Denali. The singer has a powerful voice that went well with their style of music. I hope this will spark more shows and maybe another album.
