Media: The Night Marchers: ‘See You in Magic’

The new John Reis band, dubbed the The Night Marchers have launched a full album stream of their debut full length. As previously reported the group will feature Reis (of Drive Like Jehu, Hot Snakes, Rocket From the Crypt of course) along with guitarist Gar Wood (Hot Snakes, Beehive and the Barracudas), drummer Jason Kourkounis (Hot Snakes, Mule, Delta 72), and bassist Tommy Kitsos (CPC Gangbangs).

The debut record is titled See You In Magic and is due out April 22, 2008 It will arrive via Swami and Vagrant Records.

Cool! MattRamone, kneel, and maybe baldsteve will also be coming up for that show as far as I know. Maybe others too, not sure.

Feel free to meet up with us before/at/after the show. Also, if you need a place to crash feel free. It's a few days before I'm moving so my apartment will be kinda in shambles probably, but that's a long drive to make in a night.

We keep tabs on show/communication on a google group, if you give me your email I can send you an invite if you want.

Someone tried to ruin this band for me when they brought up how much Reis sounds like the dude from Smash Mouth... problem is, it's kind of true.

just think of it like this: that fucker from Smash Mouth sounds like Reis, not the other way around. it's like how Fallout Boy kinda sounds like Lifetime. you can't let lecherous fuckers ruin good music for you.

you just now ruined this band for me as well. although, the voice may be similar,
smashmouth have no redeeming musical abilities.

also, i don't remember hearing about smashmouth back in 93 or 94 when i first picked up
circa now by RFTC.
