Darker My Love (Nerve Agents, Distillers) plan new album in August

Darker My Love, the "psych-gaze" project from members of The Nerve Agents and The Distillers have announced plans for their new record.

The record is titled 2 and is due out August 05, 2008. It is the follow-up to Darker My Love which was released in 2006.

A new track from the album, "Blue Day," can be found on their myspace page.

Are the Distillers still active? I haven't heard anything from them since 2005. I liked the first two albums, not so much Coral Fang.

Nah, they officially broke up a few years ago I think. Now Brody and Tony are in another band called Spinnerette, but all we've heard from them is a sampler on their myspace...which suspiciously sounds like Brody singing for Queens of the Stone Age, but I'm not complaining.

The "former members" of the Nerve Agents and Distillers is really just the drummer, Andy. Regardless, this is a great band and I can't wait.

I wanna say someone else from The Nerve Agents is in this, I believe one of the guitarists. I could be wrong though.

I was really surprised to see this band covered here, but then I didn't know about the Distillers connection. I like the self-titled album
