Poison The Well plan 2009 release

After their summer touring wraps up, Poison the Well will apparently be headed home to begin work on their next full length and sophomore full length for Ferret.

The band is aiming to hit the studio in the fall with an early 2009 release planned. They released Versions in 2007, with the record prior to that, You Come Before You, released in 2003.

I don't consider the star rating valid on this site. Way too many people give jacked-up scores to records that clearly don't warrant it. No one wants to upset their friends on the scene. guess that's what happen when everyone stay posi.

to a certain extent I agree. it depends on who wrote the reveiw, people like glasspipemurder and jondaley I generally trust.

ususally i read the review and depending on how that reads will determine what i think of the star rating. like that fucking thomas retard with the pennywise review. jesus.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. There's usually a massive disconnect between the review and rating or both are pack so full of positive hyperbole as to be useless as criticism.

Couldn't quite get into Versions. Tear From The Red's my favourite, I think they're at their best when they stick to 3 minute blasts...
