Scott Hull, producer and guitarist behind such colorful acts as Pig Destroyer and Agoraphobic Nosebleed has announced plans to release a new solo album which is decidedly different from his past output. Due out June 10, 2008, the album called Requiem focuses more on ambient movie soundtrack-esque music with elaborate orchestration.

Almost everything Scott Hull has done up to this has been pure genius, so I'm waiting for the final release to pass judgment. The man is the best riff-writer around; I won't be too surprised if it doesn't translate well to ambient, though. |

eh. it's alright. i think i need to be in a different mood. i just woke up and the first song sound a lot better than the second. i love the hell out of ambient music, but nobody will top brian eno.
