Popular tattoo periodical Inked Magazine has put together an extensive feature on some of New York City's most famous hardcore artists who discuss the early scene as well as their first tattoos. The five artists spotlighted include Vinnie Stigma (Agnostic Front, Madball), Jimmy Gestapo (Murphy's LawSick of It All), Civ (Gorilla Biscuits, Civ) and John Joseph (Cro-Mags, Bloodclot)

Civ's tattoo parlor is literally within walking distance from my house! I was so pissed when I found out because it was literally the day I left for college, and I haven't really been back since. Also, my mom said I'm kicked out of the house and don't get college money if I get a tattoo.
