The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are playing this Saturday, May 3 at 9pm at Sunfest in West Palm Beach, FL.

Other acts scheduled to play the 5-day festival include: The Tossers, The Academy Is..., Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Good Charlotte, Ozomatli, Matisyahu and Morris Day & the Time.

I hope the Bosstones stop playing dumb gigs like this. I know the money is probably good, but Good Charlotte? C'mon. I don't really want to see the Bosstones with bands like Good Chralotte or over-hyped bands like Dropkicks.

I'm from Long Island, and I ran with the ska-crew when I was in high school. The only time I saw ASOB was when they did the radiohead set. With each passing day I grow more pissed that I never saw them as them but more excited that I was at a show that was turned into an album.

The Bosstones are also doing a club show with the Dropkicks, it seems, in Costa Mesa in July. Looks like they are doing 2 shows together, I may be flying out to see them. I fuckin' love DKM's live show, and I caught 3 of the Throwdown shows this last year, and just..fuck, awesome.

The great thing about this fest is theres only about 4 bands playing a day, spread out among about 4 stages. Im showing up for the MMB, and thats it, im leaving.

Its worth the whole 8 bucks though.

I would go if I lived anywhere near there, simply because of the BossToneS and Ozomatli.

If only they would tour together...throw The Roots in there, and I'd have an orgasm.

Also I would shit myself for a NY date too - not just those 35 minutes at Bamboozle this weekend.
