Tours: Dropkick Murphys / The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

Dropkick Murphys and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones have announced Red Sox-themed performances back-to-back in Boston in July. The two bands will be playing LeLacheur Park, Hadlock Field and McCoy Stadium. All three venues are Red Sox minor league stadiums.

Tickets for each single show go on sale Saturday May 17 at 10:00am or visit this page to learn about a three-day season pass.

sadly it's not real, and even more so they'll probably only serve budweiser, the local beer here is naragansett and it's our equivalent to pbr but a little stronger

That would be swell if this would just be a short east coast tour. Hell, just creep down to the DC area and I'll be ok with it.

It would be nice to see Dicky and the crew again.

This show is also on Monday, July 7th at the Charter One Pavillion at Northerly Island in Chicago.

This show will be heading the starland ballroom parking lot in sayreville new jersey july 13th, which is pretty close to new york so there you go

Starland is really inconvenient to get to though. Especially when the cabbie driving you from South Amboy train station just beat the shit out of someone for a $14 fare.

this is so fucking weird.

i saw about the dropkicks and the bostones playing together at merriweather post pavillion in dc and their date took up the most space on the ad in the post. i forgot all the bands that were also on the ad but jeezus, they are promoting the shit out of this.

I got two tickets for the Chicago show... came out to be just over $90.
At first, I was pissed, but then I thought "it's The fucking Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and I was gonna travel to Boston last December to see them, probably spending over $1,000 to do so..." so my girlfriend and I being able to stay in Chicago and see them for under $100, no problem.

that is exactly what happened to me. I got pissed over how much it was, but then recalled my planning on going to the throwdown until all tix sold out insanely fast.

I got the pass for all 3 New England shows for $85. I may go to Starland as well. All the shows are GA, that's the only reason I am going, there is GA and Standing Room. So I'll be up at at least 24 Dropkick shows since 2002. And let's see, it'd give me 6 Bosstones shows since they reunited. I saw 3 of the Throwdown shows this past year, they were amazing. $35 is well worth it for both bands. There are a LOT more dates than just these 3. Chicago, Maryland, Michigan, etc etc all have dates on the little tour they are doing.

Ok, the whole Red Sox thing is getting a little old for Dropkick. And am I the only one who gets annoyed when Al Barr talks?

That said, this could be one of the greatest tours (er.....mini tour I guess) in the last 5 years.

I managed to make the throwdown, so I don't know if seeing the bosstones at merriweather would be worth it.

Also, DKM headlining is a travesty.
