That episode wasn't bad at all, AND it wasn't even supposed to be the season finale, NBC just aired it that way, so blame NBC.

It was boring none the less. The whole season was basically a holding pattern until they get moved to ABC. I love the show but they even brought up (in episodes) they were pretty much rehashing old story lines verbatim.

It was a boring season but they didn't know they were moving to ABC. All the episodes we saw were shot before the strike. Bill Lawrence (the creator and head of the show) asked NBC to give them enough money to make a few more episodes to finish off the show but they refused so he got the show moved to ABC.
