It's kinda eerie, but the song's about suicide, so I can understand why the he'd play it.

You just can't blame Blink, or any artist/writer for that matter, for talking about something like suicide in a song.

No i'm not blaming anyone, just saying there is a difference from the implied effect of MCR on suicide and a specific case where a dude did indeed kill himself to a Blink 182 song about suicide. He didn't pick Under The Bridge or something else, he specifically chose a Blink 182 song about suicide to end his life to.

Tom Delonge is a douche because i'm sure he fails to realize the difference.

While I kind of tend to agree somewhat with what you're saying...it's always seemed to me that Adams Songs, while it's impossible to not notice the connotations of suicide, I really feel at the end of the song, with the changing of the tempo and the tone of the song, that it's just about someone who contemplated it but wound up just kind of getting through it.

It's strange how music will take the heat so much, especially a song that takes on something so specific and deeply personal as suicide, and will become such fodder for this whole MCR/Emo thing, but you have authors and writers like Sylvia Plath or Edgard Allan Poe to even fucking J.D Salinger, where the tone is obviously not the brightest, but they get heralded as classics, and most become required reading.

I know personally I've been more affected by a book than I have by three minutes, because

I work in crime victim services, so I will sometimes get calls that start "I was a victim of homicide!"
