Brody Armstrong recently stated this is a Distillers interview with Souncheck Magazine which is on their website.

Speaking on Tim: "he has a side project called Transplants, best fucking band ever. The records coming out on Hellcat you got to hear it. SRs a tall skinhead guy whos fucking awesome amazing singer, raw ass fucking singer. I havent heard anyone like him. Timothy writes all the music and its a mix between country and hip-hop and punk rock and hardcore and metal its amazing. The songwriting is perfect."

Nobody from Rancid is in Bucanneer, that is one guy. He is a Dance Hall artist who combines dance hall with opera, rock, whatever else. He isn't even on Hellcat, he just let them use a track for the sampler.
