Lagwagon details "I Think My Older Brother Used to Listen to Lagwagon"

Lagwagon have posted the track listing for their upcoming EP. The record is titled I Think My Older Brother Used To Listen To Lagwagon and is due out August 19, 2008. It is the follow-up to Resolve which was released in 2005.

A new song from the EP should appear shortly.

Hrm. I heard this was originally 8 songs. And Fallen was a b-side from Resolve. Oh well, six new songs isn't anything to sneeze at when it comes to one of my all-time favorite bands.

Crossing my fingers for a full length next year.

Oh, look... a None More Black thread. I hate them, they sucks, Jason's a fag, but I'll go in there anyway and talk shit because I have no other life whatsoever. this, I don't think people were too certain Lagwagon was going to release anything else they've had a shoddy past with releases and Joey has been churning out albums with other projects so this is a great suprise

A simple "This Will." would have sufficed, but way go to the extra mile to hit "shit-bag" status.

You don't have to like any band, but there's no reason to intentionally shit all over everyone else's tastes.
Or how about "I don't like Gaslight Anthem", rather than "they suck", or "fuck that band"?

It definitely does NOT only apply to Gaslight Anthem.

Hell, last year I fucking loathed Gaslight Anthem, but have grown to like them.

However, there's different ways for you to express your feelings about a band while keeping in mind there are other opinions and feelings involved other than your own.

You can say "i fucking loathe Gaslight Anthem", "I don't like them", yada yada yada.

I think "fuck that band" is applicable for the reason that Gaslight Anthem is constantly talked about and raved about, and it gets really annoying for people who don't like them. This is a thread about Lagwagon and someone brings up Gaslight Anthem. You know what, I like Lagwagon, not Gaslight Anthem, so fuck that band.

The Chemist is WAY too good of a song not to put on an EP or full length. I know it was on Live In a Dive and the acoustic was on Resolve but still.

So they only song they actually wrote for this was 'Live It Down', since theres a B-side and the rest were written for Joeys solo album.
