Nate Gangelhoff, bassist for Minneapolis punk bands such as Banner Pilot, Off With Their Heads, Rivethead, and theThe Pyongyang Metro, has released his first book. Titled You Idiot, the book is a collection of the You Idiot and Whiskey Plus fanzines previously published by Gangelhoff combined with some newly written material as well.

having never read any of your writing, i'm shooting blind here, but the samples i saw totally read like some of my favorite zine writers from um...back in the day. you know, before most of the kids on this website were born...

i'll prolly get this. it'll prolly be good.

i've started having pangs of missing zine reading of late. anyone know a good place to go to get back up to speed with what's hot and what's not? i know about microcosm distro, they are awesome kids.

i think i have some old comps with them on it. couldn't tell y ou waht they sound like. or are you talking about a zine?

i found a box of my old zines recently. these are from like 1993-94-95. they will not be repressed in any format, analog or other.

Yeah dude, the band. Their 'safety' 7" was so damn good. I just found out their lead singer was killed 2 years ago. I've got everything they ever did, knowing your tastes, I think you would love them.

I did however get my power bill yesterday. Out here most people call it your light bill, but I'll be having none of that.

I would be able to tell you all how good the book is, but Banner Pilot never returns my emails when I try to order it along with the record preorder.

By now I'm sure the record is out but I don't have it yet..

anyway, the record isn't out yet. the whole delay due to the pressing plant being offended by a Sloppy Seconds song title has thrown things off. So... we hope to have them soon, and we'll send out all the preorders then
