Pick Anti-Flag's set at Reading/Leeds

Pittsburgh, PA's Anti-Flag have announced that they will be letting their fans pick their setlist for their Lock-Up tent set at this year's Reading/Leeds Festival. In order to make your vote count, you can visit their page on PickRset.com.

The band was also recently part of the KFC anti-cruelty campaign.

Look at Tim in the Op Ivy days and then look at him now. You're supposed to grow out of studs and bondage pants. Not start in your twenties and then continue to dress all douchy when your 40. Tim and Lars should take wardrobe advice from Matt Freeman. He's always been the coolest guy in the band, and he doesn't look nearly as douchy as those two clowns.

Aside from not really liking their music, I have zero respect for this band, any person actually, that supports PETA or the KFC anti-cruelty campaign. If you are going to put that much time, energy, effort and money into something, fuck animals. Start saving the lives of people, and stop trying to improve the lives of animals that are raised for the sole purpose of feeding people. Can you imagine if all this effort was put into something useful?

How are you possibly right? PETA IS bullshit, not many people are going to disagree with you on here, but to say "fuck animals" is a very ignorant view. Should we focus on people a little bit more than animals, yeah, probably. But that still doesn't excuse the fact that there needs to be regulation with how the animals are treated.

I kind of feel fuck humans. Not all, but most. It's not like a bear ever lead the fuck-Holocaust. It isn't like a whale forced it's Puritanical views on a land it raped, and then enslaved nearly an entire country.

Truthfully, humans are batting less than .500 at this point.

Do know how much water and grain is used to produce meat?
Do you have any idea what beef production does to our environment?
And don't you think it's possible to care about humans and animals? Anti-Flag has always preached for human and animal rights. Propagandhi does the same thing.
What exactly do you do for people, that makes it so hard to also care about animals?

Don't call me ignorant, I actually know a fair amount about the issue. No shit we are animals, but what other animals are forced to look out for/care about other animals? As animals, why should we? What's your point by asking if I know how much water and grain is used to produce meat? We have the ability to turn salt water to fresh water. We can also grow grain the last time I checked. Do you have any idea what green houses can do to the environment? If we devoted some more of this time and energy into things like environmental science and materials science and engineering we could clean the environment or do less harm to it with beef production. And while I think it is possible to care about animals and humans, I just think that caring about humans is almost infinitely more important than caring about animals. You really think it's okay to save a few humans, as opposed to a few species of animal? You don't really know any type of domino effect, do you?

Most animals are the primary food source for a different animal. If one collapses, the other invariably suffers. Often to the point of starvation for a great deal of that population.

You ask if he knows what green houses can do to an environment, but then suggest we can always just farm more grain. While thats somewhat correct, the truth of the matter is that you can only really farm a certain crop for so long on a set land of soil, before that soil becomes infertile. This is why you see a lot of farmers planting different crops here and there, which is all well and good...except grain is a necessary resource for sustaining human life.
