Tours: Atreyu, As I Lay Dying, Story Of The Year, HORSE The Band at Taste Of Chaos Europe

Taste Of Chaos, the Warped Tour offshoot tailor made for the eyeliner and girl jeans crowd, will hit Europe this October. The tour will be headlined by Atreyu and will feature As I Lay Dying, Story Of The Year, HORSE The Band and Japan's MUCC. The festivities kick off on October 9th in Hamburg, Germany (although Atretu and As I Lay Dying will join up will miss that day) and runs until Halloween in Oxford, UK.

yea, the leeds/reading line-up is pretty great but still.... i've become a bit tired of these big massive festivals over the years. everything is a total rip-off and i just feel like these events are totally designed for mindless consumerism as opposed to shit hot music. these events are just a big greed-fest, you know what i mean? i pledge that i will attend the fest within the next couple of years..

it would be a good tour if they changed some of these bands around. i'd trade atreyu for 36 crazyfists, as i lay dying for protest the hero, story of the year for alexisonfire, and horse the band for modern life is war (if they were still a band)

the cool thing about taste of chaos compared to warped tour is that there is never a single band that makes me think its worht going to.

Seeing that there are two off days on this tour between the 12th and 15th October, they should consider doing everyone a favour and make a short detour into Russia. St.Petersburg isn't that far from Helsinki after all.....

It's not so much the music i can't stand but the crowd at those kind of shows. I enjoy both as i lay dying and horse the band but you can bet your ass i wont be at one of their shows. too many kids trying to get laid and too many tough guys trying to beat up the little kids trying to get laid.

i get what you're saying. shit, i'm 27 so imagine how i feel at almost any show. not the bands fault though. then again i'm that weird guy that goes to shows and actually watches the band so maybe i just never notice how lame the scene is

I'm only 22 and i feel right at home seeing punk/alternative bands but anytime i go to see a metal or metalcore show i feel like an oldman who stands out because he doesnt wear the uniform. It's a shame because i actually enjoy alot of the music being played. In the end it doesnt matter all that much as long as the band plays a good set.
