Prank Records announces 13th anniversary show with World Burns To Death, Iron Lung

San Francisco hardcore label Prank Records has announced its 13th Anniversary show. The show, produced by local promoter Alcoholocaust, will take place on August 23rd at lAnnie's Social Club and wll feature Austin's World Burns To Death. Seattle's Iron Lung and Oakland's Desolation (members of Born/Dead, Scurvy Dogs and Strung Up) will also appear. New bay area band Needles will appear as special guests. That band features Jim and Brian from Talk Is Poison and a line up that's served time in bands like the Pattern, California Love, Limp Wrist, Los Crudos, Dead and Gone, Year Future and more.

World Burns To Death is supporting their new LP The Graveyard Of Utopia. The show is expected to be their only west coast appearance of the year.

Their should be a grimple reunion for this show since prank is the only label still distributing their shit.

I tired for the 10th anniversary and those guys weren't game- I think Brainhandle with Ira ( drummer) is back playing shows soon and Mark ( Sheets) is now back in New Mexico-he was Key Grip or something on "30 seconds to Yuma" and is doing other behind the scenes movie work. Not sure what greg and Pat are doing, as "watch them die" and "eldopa" have seemingly gone into hibernation. Might re-press "up Your ass" on LP this year.

getting that on vinyl would be pretty sweet. i just have the cd. is there a way you can include the lyrics for the last three songs on the re-released "up your ass." I think those were demos, right?
