Young Widows: "Old Skin" / "The Heat Is Here"

Young Widows have posted two songs from their upcoming full length Old Wounds, due September 9th on Temporary Residence. As previously reported, the album was recorded over four live shows and nine days at God City studios with Kurt Ballou (Converge). You can check out "Old Skin" and "The Heat Is Here" at MySpace.

The Louisville, KY band released Settle Down City in 2006 via Jade Tree.

I could listen to Old Skin over and over all day. Absolutely trumps anything on Settle Down City, I can't wait for this record.

my most anticipated release of the year... so stoked for it. these songs are both really short though. hopefully the record is more than 15 minutes long.

It sucks they are cool guys who run it, and they have an indoor soccer team. I know that just don't do a lot of promoting or distribution. Paint It Black are in it for the fun of it and they don't make any money.
