Spinnerette has parted ways with Sire Records and launched a new song. The band is offering up the song "Valium Knights" to fans who enter their email on spinnerettemusic.com. Further details on the group's debut release is expected soon. The band features the remnants of the Distillers, mainly frontwoman Brody Dalle and guitarist Tony Bevilacqua. They're joined by Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam) and Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age).

The Distillers last released Coral Fang in 2003 and fell apart in the years following.
