Tours: Thrasher Magazine announces Dirty Devil Race to Hell tour

Long-running skateboard magazine Thrasher has announced the Dirty Devil Race to Hell tour. The bill will feature Throw Rag, Lower Class Brats, Roger Miret and The Disasters, Static Thought and Viva Hate.

The Tour will feature a 14 band, all day festival show in LA on September 20th, adding Mike V's Revolution Mother to the bill along with up and coming Southern California-based bands.

THRASHER rules, but if this is a thrash tour, why the fuck is there no Skate Punk/thrash bands on the bill? Shouldn't it be something like Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, Municipal Waste, and Guttermouth?

PunkNews has lots of hardcore, emo, indie, pop, and rock. They should include metal too (once in a while they do). Real metal though, like Slayer and The Haunted. Not gay shit like Suicide Silence and Lamb of God.

I like the the solo, where it get's really fast for about 15 seconds. Other than that it kinda boring. But, I will definitely have to steal it online when it becomes available (hopefully an early leak, just to piss off Lars even more).

I fucking dig it! Im not some mark for these guys either.I remember Buying the Vinyl of "The Black Album" at one of the (long gone) local indie stores before official release date.The punk dude who worked there TALKED ME INTO returning it on the spot because he said it was SOOOO bad.I bought "Stukas Over Disneyland" and a Killing Joke record signed by Jaz Coleman instead. Then me and some of my fellow burnouts smoked a two-litre bong and waited for the premiere of the video for "Enter Sandman" I havent liked them since. Those first four records though....WOW! I think this song is growing on me. It aint the thrash of yore,but its got crunch,they lrt Kirk wail finally and its almost as if(with Rick Rubin's help) they are trying to.....gasp.....DEVELOP THEIR OWN SOUND!!!! Im pleasantly surprised. But shit, after how TOTALLY AWESOME that new Cocksparrer record is,Im ready for anything. New Motorhead and Buzzcocks stuff is worth a check as well.

I used to really look forward to Pushed's columns and the ad's, which, at the time were kinda arty and unique.

If I was skater kid nowadays, one thing that I'd "Thrash" out to while carving pools and tic-tacing across parking lots would be Yellowcard's CD entitled Paper Walls, it came out a little over a year ago and according to the street team is still selling strong, check it out and "Light Up The Sky".
