Does Deathwish have 1 good band? Serious question.
Yellow_card (August 13, 2008)
Sounds good, reminds me of some of Yellowcard's earlier material. Then they learned to play thier instraments a little better and wrote great songs like "Ocean Avenue". That song sends chills down my spine everytime I think about it, which is about 4 times a week, sometimes more if I'm having a bad week. After you check out Deathwishes myspace, head on over to Yellowcard and see how they have the same vibe but are a little more fun and more girls like them also.

And their street team are nothing but brainwashed idiots that actually think converge is a hardcore band.

Are people actually shit talking Deathwish as a record label? This blows my mind. They sign amazing band after amazing band. I mean fuck me, I just went to their website to put together a list of great bands and had forgotten a bunch who recorded with them:

If deathwish is so great for the 'scene' why release a Ceremony record the same time as their other label forcing them to compete with themselves? That's a total scumbag Victory move. |
