The Bronx announce title, release date. It's exactly what you predicted

The Bronx have set a title and release date for their highly anticipated third full length. The record is titled The Bronx III and is due out November 11, 2008. It is the follow-up to The Bronx II which was released in 2006.

You can check out the artwork from the record here and check out a song posted earlier this year on their myspace page.

yeah, too bad they aren't british, beyond the fact both bands make totally different approaches to fast heavy rock....I'd say Gallows are definitely more punk, and Bronx are more greaseball, gearhead rock n roll.

I saw them at Warped last week. They were awesome. There weren't many people in front of the stage so the singer got down in the center of the pit, drew us all in towards him, and went off on "History's Stranglers". It was great; definitely the best time I've had at Warped in several years. I'm sure I screamed something into the mic that vaguely resembled the proper lyrics.

i saw them at warped too, awesome. however, if you sounded anything like the dudes hollering into the mic at the show i saw you did not scream anything that even remotely resembled the proper lyrics.

i too want the mariachi record, so i asked the guy at their tent at warped about it. turns out the guy was bryan, their tour manager. he told me that the mariachi album should be out in january and that danny elfman had worked on it. sounds good to me.

Zep actually numbered their records. The Bronx don't. Their 3 records are all self titled, the numbers aren't "officially" part of the title.

Where are all the Gallows comparisons coming from? They really don't sound THAT much alike. Plus, Bronx were doing this long before Gallows. Fuck the Gallows they are just a flash in the pan. Bronx are much better and I'm thoroughly suprised that not everyone here thinks the same.
