We are very, very hard at work on writing songs for our new record. It is going extremely well. We are literally spending almost every moment we are awake working on them. We are having a blast!! Time is the only enemy!!! Yikes!!!!!!The band previously announced plans to hit the studio in October to record the follow up to 2005's Potemkin City Limits.

It's not a very informative update but I doubt many of you will mind. Todd Kowalski of Winnipeg's Propagandhi posted a brief update on the band's next record:

today's empires and less talk are perfect albums. potemkin and how to clean are also good, just not as good as those two, in my opinion. this band can do little wrong. though it's not really news, i am STOKED. 2+ Replies

reluctantly crouched at the starting line. engines pumping and thumping in time. the green light flashes, the flags go up churning and burning they yearn for the cup.

Am I the only one who thinks TETA is their worst? Before you bash me, let me make something clear. It's an amazing album, as are their other albums. But personally, I like the other three just a little better. And to me, I'm right. 3+ Replies

If'n someone happens to read this, where is a good place to find shoes made in at least reasonable factories? An old teacher led our economics class to no sweat apparel, but they're out of shoes. 2+ Replies

three way cage match between Propagandhi's newest, D4's Civil War, and Chinese Democracy. Who leaves the cage first? i'm thinking propagandhi, then chinese democracy, then civil war. 1+ Reply

When I read this news, I started screaming "YES!" over and over, and proceeded to grab my girlfriend and throw her on the floor (Still screaming yes!). After I calmed down she told me that it's good news but not the best news in the world.
