Iggy Pop injured on stage in London

Iggy Pop was reportedly injured at London's Get Loaded in the Park Festival this past Sunday. The godfather of punk wounded his leg after falling from a speaker stack on the festival's main stage. Of course, being Iggy Pop he kept on performing and the show went on as planned. The 61 year old icon was performing with The Stooges and had invited the crowd on stage for "No Fun."

He was as full of energy as 20 teenagers on speed, jumping everywhere, humping the amps, demanding a stage invasion - just brilliant.
A friend did say she noticed him limping through the second half of the set though.
Anyone making ageist comments should go back to watching boy bands.

Gogol Bordello didn't do it for me, but seemed very popular with the crowd.
The Hives owned it as far as I'm concerned, but then, I am biased ;)

iggy is the best. i've seen him a couple of times and he always seems to injure himself at one point in the set... he hurls himself about like a fucking madman. a shining example to us all if ever there has been one.
