The Casting Out (ex-Boy Sets Fire) details debut full length

The Casting Out, which includes Nathan Gray of Boy Sets Fire, have detailed their debut full length Go Crazy! Throw Fireworks!. The album will be self-released in October and will feature 12 songs.

The songs "Quixote's Last Ride" and "These Alterations" are available at the band's MySpace page. The band will play shows in October with the Bouncing Souls and Strike Anywhere, cumulating in an appearance at The Fest weekend in Gainesville.

ugh i dunno about this. i still think the last boysetsfire release was tremendous (as was most of their catalog) but this just sounds ... sort of pointless. i'll give it another shot when there's more songs out there but, meh.

when i checked them out a few months ago, i said the same thing.

"meh."

i was at the last two bsf shows at the troc... it was a sad two days. and the worst part is that they would've had them months earlier but josh was all fucked up from falling out of a window.

someone started a fight the first night and nate said, "who the fuck comes to a boysetsfire show and starts a fucking fight...? get the fuck out of here..."

I don't even remember that boysetsfire broke up. wasn't a big fan of the last album though. But with some time, I can see myself liking this.

Their Myspace says that theyre playing the fest.
The same show as the bouncing souls and strike anywhere.
I enjoy the music, so I hope i have a good time at that show on Halloween.

I only have BoySetsFire's first album, and it's really freakin cool, and I'm currently undergoing a session of profound instrospection to figure why I haven't bought more of their albums (like all of them).

And I wish I could listen to this. My computer doesn't have speakers. D:

this album kicks ass
i listened to it a couple times all the way through and it was awesome
some of their earlier stuff sounded like boysetsfire ballads but they threw all that away and this new record is badass
and seriously, it's a pop band
