Videos: Gaslight Anthem video bonanza

With the release of their acclaimed new full length The '59 Sound there amount of Gaslight Anthem media hitting our mailbox has exploded. If you've not yet had your fill here's some new video content that recently hit the net.

TV station Fuse has a set of clips online from the band's recent SURS interview. They discuss their thoughts on vinyl, the making of their new video and musical influences. You can check it out here.

The band also recently make their debut in Australia. Web site Moshcam filmed their show in Sydney at the Annandale Hotel on Wednesday July 30th. You can now stream the entire show for free here.

I've been trying to find a spot on the floor in that hotel actually, I didn't know it was gonna be $600 all at once so I didn't have the money in my account to reserve a room this week. Ya know, I bought The '59 Sound on white vinyl, blue vinyl, and CD... I went to the record release show for $10 and I bought a shirt for $12... Yet I'm not allowed to hear "Once Upon A Time" according to iTunes. That iTunes exclusive stuff is for the birds, if you will.

As a new album comes out, my favorite song changes every 3-4 days as they begin to sink in a little more. Currently digging The Backseat. Howsabout everyone else?

Also: Never checked out the Swellers (been meaning to) until the free songs the other day. I fucking love them, both the acoustic and the few older songs I heard by them. People on here have been talking them up for a while and I just didn't listen. My loss. I will be picking up something by them soon. What should I get?

I saw these guys on Fuse, they seemed really down to earth, they weren't poppy enough for me. Hats off bands that are willing to go away from pop-punk (a style that has been so hot ever since Yellowcard's "Ocean Avenue" won over a legion of fans.
Speaking of Yellowcard, here is a show review I wrote for a zine that never happened, it was from Jacksonville show (their home turf!)

Getting to this show was a bit hectic. I've decided that I never want to drive in Jacksonville again. This was my first time going there, and I had a terrible time getting around.
John from Orlando came with me (My friend Barbara was going to come too but her mom wouldn't let her) and we got sort of lost. That wasn't the worst part though. The traffic was what was really bad. There were so many cars. As if that weren't hectic enough, the drivers were all re
