Tours: Millencolin (Europe, South America)

Long running Swedish punk act Millencolin's world tour in support of Machine 15 rolls on. In the coming months the band will visit the a number of countries in Europe and South America, with dates scheduled into late December. The band's UK dates will feature Strawberry Blondes.

Sarah Palin as VP? Thoughts? I haven't seen her speak and I've only read a little about her, but I think McCain may have just handed the election to Obama.

See I've already seen people saying the opposite, that Obama's done for.

I can never quite get a read on this country as a whole, I swear. One thing I DO know is that young people will NEVER vote. Don't listen to anyone, it'll still be that same under 20 friggin' percent when it's over.

voting for the President is fucking meaningless, this will be the second election I'm able to vote in and the second election I pass on. Vote for something that matters, like increasing your school district's music department budget.

She is loved by Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, ect who haven't been thrilled with McCain being the Republican nominee. This may get McCain a ton of votes from the far right who drink the neo-con kool-aid.

To be honest I’m actually surprised they picked her, considering she’s a fucking scumbucket**. Despite her views on abortion/creationism/the war, ect, I still don’t think she’s going to play well with the GOP base, do they think southern Baptists are going to vote for a women? Plus i don't think this is going to gain them any dem voters, she may grab a few disgruntled Hilliary supporters, but the media has been blowing that shit way out of proportion. She's nothing more than any the other GOP hack, just with a pretty face.

I was talking to a guy I work with and asking him what he thought about the VP choice and he didn't even know who Obama's running mate was and then he asked if Hillary was still running (seriously!!!??). This guy is 31 years old. He told me his motto is see no evil, hear no evil, and that's why he doesn't ever watch or read the news. Can you imagine being that out of touch?

Somebody was telling me about this Vonnegut short story to which he forgot the name, but the plot revolved around a government that cut off the clit from females when they turned 18 and the hero of the story was a guy who raped girls before they hit 18 to pleasure them and show them that there is more than what the government has to offer. Anyways...it sounded pretty crazy and I wanna check it out, anybody know the title, so is he way off on the story or it being a Vonnegut story. I've only read Slaughterhouse-Five by him.

I would've sawed off my leg (like in that one movie) to see Millencolin like 4-7 years ago, and I don't know if they've even been in America since I started listening to them. Now if they come, I probably wouldn't go.

I thought it was pretty good. Although it wasn't too Millencolin, it was still Millencolin.

I liked it. I never really heard any strong reason's for hate about this album or Kingwood. It was pretty much "you got to much pop in my pop punk band!!!!"

So if you live in the UK..go to this. See Strawberry Blondes, they are excellent, I know their bass player. He's a good guy.
