Pinky Ring Records signs The Last Starfighter, Rick Whispers

Orlando, Florida's Pinky Ring Records is back from a year long hiatus with a new roster. The label has signed Houston, TX based rock band The Last Starfighter. They'll release a digital EP by the band later in the year. New songs can be previewed at MySpace.

The label has also signed Albany, New York based hip hop act Rick Whispers. Whispers has collaborated with the likes of Mac Lethal, Lazerbeak, xReignOfTerrorx, and C-Rayz Wallz. His debut for the label will arrive in 2009.

So after some recent events in life and everything, I've decided I have to move away from where I live. I just can't take it here anymore.

So...I think it's between moving to Washington DC and peeing on the steps of the White House after every Navel Gazing, or passing out on some beach in Southern California.

personally, i would move to california. but thats probably because im from virginia and ive never been there. but, if i was you, i would move to dc so you could hang out with the va/dc/md crew we got over here.

You guys are all really rad, for sure.

But I also have a lot of close friends in Southern California, too.

How often does it snow there, in and around those parts? I've lived in Arizona for the majority of my life and have never seen the stuff, and to be quite honest I'm not sure how I'd react to falling semi-solid, frozen and wet particles.

I'd probably swear it was a sign of the apocalypse and end of the world.

its hard to predict the weather haha, but it probably snows every couple years. its not all that common where i live. dc's a bit further north though.

Arizona City, Arizona.

Here's a bit of advice, up there with always giving a cautionary sniff to milk, as well as wrapping it up; Um...don't live in a city that has the name of the state you live in in it's title.

EX: Arizona City, AZ. Colorado Springs, CO.

I've lived in both, both are in fact shit holes.

I LOVE living next to one of the biggest trails for immigrants to run through. God bless 'em.

i did go to high school in sierra vista, tho.

what a hole.

my advice? go to california now, while you're young. then you can leave once you're tired of it. if you go somewhere else straight out of az, then california will never be as cool as you always thought it would be...

that's what i did, and i'm happy to have gotten it out of my system at 22-24 years old...

I've lived in Albany, all over Arizona, been to California hundreds of times...many other places too. Boston, Chicago, New Jersey...a lot.

Um, I just really love California.
