Cheeky joins Art Of The Underground singles series

Art Of The Underground have confirmed that Brooklyn's Cheeky will contribute to their single series. The b-side of the band's upcoming 7" will feature a Slingshot Dakota cover on the b-side. They join other recently confirmed bands like the Copyrights, the Steinways, Chinese Telephones, the Methadones, and the Apers.

The band recently released the six song Choke On A Cheeseburger EP via Quote Unquote Records.

Speaking of Choking on Cheeseburgers, there is only one redeeming thing about the 117 mile drive from Phoenix to Tucson, and that's In-N-Out burger. Double Double and a strawberry shake. Yum. Then I drove back. Fuck you Arizona.

In-N-Out in Tucson? I know there's one in Vegas too, they're slowly starting to spread from Cali, the man who started it all must be killing himself even deader, I thought that chain was supposed to be Cali only. Ah well, I don't give a shit, it's only a matter of time before it reaches Seattle I suppose.

By the way, glad you mentioned the "beenie in hot as fuck weather" problem. What the fuck is up with that, and how do these kids not hyperventilate or itch their scalp off?

If I remember my In-N-Out propaganda properly, they just have one centralized distribution center to monitor quality control. As long as the location can be reached without freezing the food, I think they are ok with it. (I don't remember specifics)

Wikipedia proved interesting, I never realized there were bible passage numbers on the bottom of cups, that just docked them some cool points. Ah well, there shit is so good. No joke, I had a 3 hour layover in LA, my dad and brother came to take me to In-N-Out just outside the airport. Standing through a security line AGAIN is just how good their shit is.

i have not. either of the bands you mentioned that start with an "m".

i need to catalog and rip my stuff, too. it's sooooo good. getting an ipod spoiled the shit out of me. flipping over the record is like...a hassle or something.

you know what we (record geek/audiophile/etc) types need? a jukebox. but one that plays lp's.

how amazing would that be? like a huge wurlitzer, that plays 12 inch records.

stop moving to brooklyn. there's enough of you here. so many that i basically refuse to listen to bands that are from brooklyn. go start your own scene, in your own town. make yourself proud.
