from scott's post on that thread, it looks like scott claims that he saw the leak, didn't know who leaked it, and told fat. THEY figured out who leaked it, told scott who it was, and FAT called Racket.

still sucks that he called them, i suppose. i mean, dunno what stake he had in keeping it under wraps.

Well, I was told that he said it was Aaron specifically. I know Aaron did NOT leak it, and really did nothing wrong; he gave the code to a few people he trusted (and those people did not leak it, it was that dude in VC). Obviously, there are more than just one person who was given access to the code, Aaron made the wrong move of taunting punknews or else he wouldn't have been blamed for something he didn't do.

Regardless, I feel bad for trashing Scott... I too hate leaks (though, guilty of the 59 sound and I'm never downloading again).

i think it also comes down to how you define a leak.

does a leak = someone posts the code to the secret stream?
does a leak = someone with access to the stream rips it and posts it on the intarwebs?
does a leak = something else entirely?

If he gave the code to other people who in turn leaked it to even more then he should take full responsibility. Leaking albums sucks and I say suck it to the fat cunt he got mad privilleges and he thought he was a mad cunt trying to show off now he is eating dick.

I know the people he sent it to are either not smart enough to rip a stream or wouldn't post it all over the place. Like I said, Aaron wasn't the only press member to be given the code, so who knows what other douche bag it could have been.
