Fearless Records has signed Funeral Party, a four piece "electro-rock" band from east Los Angeles. A write up in the L.A. Times compared the band to Moving Units, the Rapture and LCD Soundsystem. The group will release a debut ful-length soon on the label, in the meantime they'll be touring across the US with French singer Yelle.

re: the 80's cartoons/toys discussion...what were those little guys called, they were like half animal, half anthropomorphized animal warrior guys, and they were either fire, water, or wood? I think? And they had a little sticker you'd rub to reveal....and come to think of it do toys these days still have those stickers like those and the transformers?
