I never said recycling STOLEN, all their songs are like ripoffs of their own riffs. Plus, Zeppelin may have taken some riffs but they changed it enough into their own thing. For someone who likes jazz, you should be familair with riffs being stolen and then used for more tribute purposes than plagarism.

as someone who has actually had a lot of experience with it - I think it's the only way a system should operate. Obviously ours is not perfect, but that's due to a lack of doctors and lack of training for doctors. In a country with as many doctors and schools as the USA (not to mention the fact that you won't lose your best and brightest to the south like we often do), i think it would work out fine in the USA.

I would always say that the Ramones were the first pop-punk act, regardless of their time, but the Descendents perfected the art with some of their 90's albums.
Dude Ranch is essential, regardless of the fact that Blink gets quite a bit of flak on this site.

I Don't Want to Grow Up is my favorite album OF ALL TIME. Get that first, then ALL(album not band) which is pretty experimental but still has its pop punk moments (you might have heard Coolidge from that album on the Travis Barker boost mobile comercial).

Now, normally I wouldn't be that amped for Flobots, but H.R. is opening. Now, I'm willing to disregard how fucked up it is that H.R., who has put on insane live shows for roughly 30 years now is opening for a mediocre alternative hip-hop act, because I still get to see him play.

whoa whoa whoa. who doesn't have time to listen to music in college? unless you're majoring in ... actually there's no point b/c you definitely have time. give me a break. my roommate freshman year majored in biomedical engineering and he listened to music all the time, including during all nighters when he did ridiculous shit like design a functional 100 ft crane from scratch. i even had time to make 90 minute long treks from the north suburbs of chi to the fireside bowl to see dillinger escape plan and other such bands. what you NEED to do is lock it up.

Its waaaaaay better than I thought it would be. I liked it a lot, even though Hartnets mug was on my tv the whole time

It's the movie, 'I Am Legend' should have been. The book rules, will smith couldn't have ruined the source material more.

And the movie is way better than I expected. I hate Josh Hartnet, but he didn't actually make me fantasize about running him over with my car, which is a step up from his typical fare.

The overhead shot during the initial invasion could not have been done better.

bah, i really liked i am legend. will smith did fuck it up some with his cutesiness, but the action was great and the desolation/insanity was played well.

30 days of night was just a mess. a beautiful one, but a plotless mess.
