The Blackout Pact plan final release, tour

The Blackout Pact, who called it quits in 2006 have announced plans to record a few final tracks and are booking a tour for next summer. The band had this to say:

The original members of The Blackout Pact are getting together to record one more record. [We] will be meeting up in February to record three to five more songs to be pressed and ready for a summer release and our last tour ever.

The band, who were signed to Geoff Rickley's Astromagnetics label, released Hello Sailor in 2005.

I think that was the Lawrence Arms interview (this was the Falcon), which wasn't typed up. I remember Brendan saying how they did a shit ton of pills and what not. I dunno, I'm lazy.

This is awesome news. I just hope the guys whose personal problems caused the demise of the band were able to get the help they needed. And I second the Michigan sentiment, as would at least 5 of my friends.

That said, in ex-BOP news, I can't fucking wait to get my Only Thunder record in the mail.

Hello Sailor's songs all sound very similar, but in this case it doesn't bother me. I just listen to it as an album, and never end up changing it halfway through or anything. 'Stoked' for these 3-5 songs.
