Meat Puppets will be hitting the road this month to support 90s-era grunge superstars Stone Temple Pilots.

Scott Weiland's become a prime candidate for the Biggest Douche in the Universe award, but not counting Rage Against the Machine and Nirvana, STP is easily my favorite `90s alt-rock band. Dudes wrote some great songs.

I just saw Stone Temple Pilots at a festival here, they were pretty shitty. When Scott said "This is not a lounge... this is a stadium... but this is Lounge Life" all I could muster was a very eloquent "what the fuck".

On the other hand, The Flaming Lips, who played before them, were pretty rad.
