If you're referring to the whole bailout thing, I think people are confusing socialism with fascism, which according to one of Strike Anywhere's music videos Mussolini himself said it was "just a merger of state and corporate power."

If you're referring to the whole "Obama will bring nothing but socialism to the USA baahhhhhhhhhhhh" thing, I think that all I have to say is that the majority of Americans are fucking retarded.

That being said, if I had the chance, I'd move to Sweden in a heart beat. They take care of their fucking people.
